Paint shirts will be available for guests to purchase at check-in. Most families choose to wait and decide in the moment so kids can see the sizes, match with friends, and grab one together — and we carry all sizes.
Shirts are a low-cost, optional add-on each guest can choose for themselves. They protect everyday clothes and become a fun keepsake to take home. We recommend giving parents a quick heads-up that paint shirts will be available for purchase at the party so there are no surprises.
Every Splatter Box party is designed for maximum fun with minimal stress — we handle the setup, supplies, and cleanup so you can just enjoy the celebration! Each package includes goggles, paint brushes, palettes, and a high-energy space built for creative chaos.
Here’s the typical party flow:
Typical Party Flow (90 minute Party Example)
If your party starts at 2:00 PM, setup begins at 1:30 PM, and everything wraps up around 3:30 PM.
🕐 1:30–2:00 PM — Setup & Arrival Guests arrive, drop off gifts, and get settled.
🎂 2:00–2:30 PM — Cake & Celebration Sing happy birthday, enjoy treats, and celebrate together.
🎁 2:30–3:30 PM — Paint Time Head into the splatter zone for about an hour of colorful fun!
We’ve found this to be the perfect party flow.
30 minutes is just right for setup, 30 minutes at the table builds excitement until the kids can’t wait to paint, and 1 full hour of high-energy splattering, dancing, and creating is the sweet spot for maximum fun without burnout. It’s the rhythm that keeps parties smooth, exciting, and stress-free for parents.
Paint is purchased separately since every group uses a different amount. You’re never locked into a set quantity — you can start with any amount and add more at any time during the party if your group wants to keep the colors flowing.
Most families choose their paint after booking once they know their final guest count. Many start with our Paint Max Paint Pack because it’s the best value and makes party prep simple — but it’s totally optional.
You can also add paint in-studio on party day as you go, so it’s easy to stay in control of your total.
Do we need to fill out a waiver?
Yes — a quick waiver is required for all participants, but it’s super easy! You’ll receive a link to complete it online before your visit, which helps check-in go faster and keeps the focus on fun.
Each child’s parent or guardian will need to complete their own waiver, so please share the link with your guests ahead of time. If someone forgets, no worries — waivers can also be filled out when you arrive.
We just want to make sure everyone’s covered, safe, and ready to splash!
Great question! We strongly recommend starting with cake, snacks, and gifts before painting. That way everyone is clean for photos, fueled up for fun, and ready to go all-in once the splatter starts.
Once painting begins, things get colorful fast, so food works best beforehand. It keeps the party flowing smoothly and makes sure you get the full paint experience without stopping to reset.
If you have a special reason to flip the order, please let us know a few days before your party so we can plan for it. We’re not able to accommodate last-minute or same-day changes to the party flow.

❓ How early should I arrive for my party?
Arrival time depends on which party package you’ve booked:
Mini Party and Splatter Party – These bookings do not offer early arrival. Your party start time is your arrival time, and setup begins when you check in.
Birthday Party – You may arrive up to 30 minutes before your scheduled start time for setup, greeting guests, and getting ready to celebrate before paint time begins.
📌 Please note that early arrivals outside of these times may overlap with other parties or events in progress.
We're excited you're thinking about decorating! 🎉 While our space is already colorful and fun, you’re welcome to bring balloons and a table cloth to add a personal touch. 🎈 We do keep it limited to just balloons, since the space is designed to be bright and festive on its own, and it helps keep things simple for you!
For safety and cleanup reasons, we do not allow banners, glitter, confetti, noise makers, silly string, piñatas, or open flames (other than birthday candles). Thanks for understanding and helping us keep Splatter Box fun for everyone!

Yes! You’re welcome to bring cake or cupcakes and bottled drinks for your celebration. These work perfectly with our setup and keep the party moving smoothly into paint time.
We recommend keeping food light (cake, treats, snacks, drinks) so kids don’t lose paint time and hands stay clean for splattering. Full meals like pizza tend to slow the party down, which is why most families keep it simple.
Your party also includes a dedicated cake + gift table, perfect for photos, celebrating, and getting everyone ready for the splatter zone!
Yes, your group will have a designated cake table to use during the party! 🎂 While the space is shared with other guests, you’ll have that special spot for your cupcakes and presents. There will also be plenty of standing room for everyone to enjoy the festivities and get creative with painting. We’re here to make sure you have a fantastic time! 🎉
Yes, we’ve added plenty of seating with benches in the party area, perfect for those who prefer to sit, like older guests or parents. While the party space is spacious and allows for easy mingling, dancing, and movement, there’s still plenty of comfortable seating for those who want to relax and enjoy the celebration. The area is designed to be energetic and social, ensuring everyone has a great time—whether standing, dancing, or sitting back and enjoying the party!
Yes, goggles are included! 🥽 We provide them for all guests to ensure everyone has fun while staying protected from paint splatters. Safety first, after all!
We also recommend wearing ponchos for extra protection, and we have additional options available for purchase if you’d like. Feel free to bring your own ponchos, too! Our goal is to make sure you have a colorful, worry-free experience! 🎨💥
Absolutely! We know it’s hard to predict exactly who will show up—does anyone RSVP these days? 😆 That’s why we offer ultimate flexibility! If space allows, last-minute painters can join in for $19 each, and every additional painter comes with extra paint to keep the creativity flowing.
A couple of extra guests? No problem! If you expect a bigger turnout than planned, just check with us first to ensure we have room. We want everyone—kids, parents, grandparents, or friends—to be able to enjoy the experience without any stress!
